An Everton XI will play a pre-season friendly with Forfar Athletic on Friday 23 July at 7:30pm as part of the Loons' 125th Anniversary celebrations.
Forfar are hoping that the team for the friendly, drawn from Everton's second string that will on a pre-season training trip to St Andrews, will be a strong one.
The fixture was arranged thanks to Lord Lyell of Kinnordy, life-long Everton fan and shareholder, who was apparently instrumental in getting the Blues to provide the opposition.
